Turning Trash Day Into a Thoughtful Service

For most of us, trash day is a chore—one more box to check in a busy week. But for Justin Nabors, founder of Bin Butlers, it’s an opportunity to foster comfort, community, and even a little joy. With animated branding that’s as friendly as a Saturday morning cartoon, Bin Butlers is quietly transforming the way Orange County residents and beyond think about waste management—one bin at a time.

A Neighborhood Favor Turned OC Amenity

Bin Butlers officially launched in May 2025, but its roots stretch back to 2023, when Justin found himself helping a friend who traveled often by taking out his trash bins. Around the same time, Justin’s grandmother underwent surgery and needed help with her own bins.

“Without realizing it, I had naturally started offering a service that was solving a real problem,” says Justin. As word spread, more neighbors reached out for help, and a simple favor blossomed into a business idea.

Today, Bin Butlers specializes in reliable, professional trash bin roll-out and return services for residential properties, short-term rentals, and senior communities. The goal is simple: “To remove one small, recurring task from our clients’ busy lives and give them one less thing to worry about,” Justin says. What began as a neighborhood courtesy has grown into a trusted service expanding across Orange County.

The Heart Behind the Service

What sets Bin Butlers apart isn’t just its service—it’s the spirit behind it.

“There really aren’t many businesses like Bin Butlers,” says Justin. “Most companies in the waste industry focus on pickup, pressure washing, or junk removal. We focus on the in-between step—the part that’s easy to forget and usually falls on a neighbor, a family member, or gets missed entirely: taking bins to and from the curb.”

It’s a deceptively simple task, but one that can be a real challenge for seniors, busy parents, or anyone juggling a packed schedule. Bin Butlers’ approach is rooted in consistency, quiet professionalism, and a human-centered ethos. Whether helping an older adult who no longer feels safe handling bins, an Airbnb host trying to avoid guest complaints, or a parent with too much on their plate, the team shows up on time, every time, with care and discretion.

Branding That Feels Like Home

If you’ve seen Bin Butlers’ branding, you’ll notice it’s intentionally playful—animated, light, and approachable.

“Our branding is designed to foster a sense of safety and familiarity—similar in spirit to Chevron’s branding,” says Justin. The cheerful mascot and animated visuals make trash day feel less like a chore and more like a thoughtful service. It’s a subtle but powerful way to remind clients that they’re in good hands.

A Service Built on Trust

Bin Butlers is proud to be a VIVE-certified vendor through FirstService Residential, North America’s largest property management company. This certification means the company has been vetted and approved to serve HOAs and managed communities with professionalism, liability coverage and a track record of excellence. “We’re not just taking out the trash—we’re bringing peace of mind, one bin at a time,” Justin says.

Justin’s journey to Bin Butlers is as varied as it is inspiring. With a background in business development and social media strategy, he’s worked across industries from blockchain education to luxury wine authentication. But a common thread runs through all his ventures: “How do we bring value by making life easier for people?”

Bin Butlers Team Member

Since 2020, Justin has also been deeply involved in helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety, a commitment that’s shaped his business philosophy.

“Some of the foundational principles in that space are service, unity, and fostering a strong sense of community—helping others without expecting anything in return. That mindset has deeply shaped how I approach business. To be truly valuable, you have to bring value to other people’s lives.”

Our goal? To remove one small, recurring task from our clients’ busy lives and give them one less thing to worry about.

Filling a Gap, One Bin at a Time

Before Bin Butlers, missing trash day meant dealing with overflowing bins, awkward neighbor favors, or last-minute sprints in your pajamas. “We’re changing that,” Justin says. “Bin Butlers exists to fill a gap most people didn’t even realize could be outsourced.” The service is for everyone: empty nesters, older adults, Airbnb hosts, or anyone who values convenience.

In a world where outsourcing daily tasks is increasingly common—think DoorDash, grocery delivery, or mobile car detailing—Bin Butlers brings that same level of convenience to trash day. And with a special discounted rate for seniors, the company is committed to making its service accessible to those who need it most.

Making Life Smoother, One Chore at a Time

At its core, Bin Butlers is about more than trash bins. It’s about giving people time, comfort and peace of mind.

“That may sound small—but it makes a big difference,” says Justin. With a blend of playful branding, heartfelt service and a genuine commitment to community, Bin Butlers is quietly redefining what it means to take out the trash—and in the process, making Orange County a little brighter, one curb at a time.

“A few weeks ago, I met a kind-hearted elderly woman on her very first day of service,” says Justin. “She used a walker and gently shared something that has stayed with me ever since. With a warm smile, she said, ‘I’m so happy a company like yours exists… because before you, I had to place my walker inside the trash bin and use the bin itself to help me get it to the curb.’

“I was floored. It was such a simple statement—but it carried so much weight. In that moment, I was reminded that this work is about so much more than trash bins. It’s about dignity. It’s about independence. And it’s about being there for someone, quietly, when it really counts. That conversation is something I’ll never forget—and it’s exactly why we do what we do. We’re not just rolling bins. We’re quietly protecting people’s ability to live on their own terms—and that’s powerful.”
